Officer Training Records

Peace officers are now able to download their individual certification, employment and training records.  The only information required to obtain this report is your Social Security Number and Date of Birth.  Please review the following notes prior to submitting a request for training records.

Please Read Carefully Before Proceeding

NOTE: The Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Council is not required to maintain training records. These training records are maintained as a service to the departments and officers of Georgia. If our records are incorrect,  please do not telephone POST, you must submit the following in order to update the records: Copy of course completion certificate with number of hours of training reflected on the certificate (include officer’s social security number). If no hours are listed on the certificate, we will need an agenda of the training program. Copies of course completion reports (C-12s) may also be submitted.

If our records are correct or you are unable to document that the training was completed, it may be necessary for you to obtain a twenty hour waiver. Click here for Waiver Information or a waiver form.

If you wish to correct any information in your  records, DO NOT CALL POST, FAX or MAIL one of the following to P.O.S.T.:

*  A course completion certificate with officer's name, SSN and number of hours
*  If no hours are listed on the certificate, a course agenda is needed or;
*  A copy of the course completion report (P.O.S.T. form C-12.)
