Petition to Modify Dates of Probation
Q1. Who is eligible?
A. Any officer placed on probation prior to July 1, 2010.
Q2. Is there a fee for this petition?
A. Yes an administrative fee of $150.00 is required. Please note that personal checks are not accepted. Payment must be in the form of a certified check or money order.
Q3. There were conditions placed upon my probation, how is this affected?
A. All conditions of probation must be met before probation will be lifted. For example: if the terms of probation requires remedial training, that training must be completed prior to the end of your probation.
Q4. What happens if I don’t wish to pursue the matter, at this time?
A. Your probation will remain in its current status and will not begin until you are re-hired as an officer.
