  • NOTICE REGARDING OPERATIONS AT POST: As the US experiences the spread of COVID-19, it is important to keep our workforce healthy in order to maintain state operations. POST has implemented telework options for staff. We encourage officers and agencies to use telephone, email or the POST Data Gateway as a means of conducting business to avoid interpersonal contact at office locations.

  • NOTICE REGARDING OPERATIONS AT CERTIFIED ACADEMIES: With the entire globe weathering COVID-19, the highly infectious respiratory disease caused by a new coronavirus, we are in uncharted territory. During this time, we are hearing many rumors and speculations about when things will return to normal. At this time, no one is certain. In regards to POST certified academies resuming operations, the Council will continue to monitor the situation. Effective May 1, 2020, POST certified academies shall resume basic training as long as social distancing is observed and staff and students are monitored for symptoms of COVID 19.
